Samsung has now launched three new mid-range smartphones: Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A73 5G. There is no charger or earphones included in the box, and the domestic version status is unknown.
Samsung Galaxy A73 5G
The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ Infinity-O screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The body dimensions are 76.1 x 163.7 x 7.6 mm and it weighs 181 grams. It supports IP67 level waterproof and dustproof. The appearance has not changed much compared to the previous generation.
IT Home learned that the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chip, 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage space, supports microSD card expansion up to 1TB, and has no 3.5mm headphone jack.
For imaging, it uses Samsung’s own 108MP main camera, which is an improvement over the Galaxy A72’s 8MP 3x zoom lens, as well as a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP wide-angle sensor, and a 32MP front-facing lens.
In other aspects, the phone has a built-in 5,000mAh battery, supports 25W fast charging, and is pre-installed with Android 12 and One UI 4.1 systems. It will receive four years of major version upgrades of the Android operating system and five years of security updates. It will be available in some markets on April 22.
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G
The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is equipped with a 6.5-inch FHD+ resolution Super AMOLED display with a maximum brightness of 800nits and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It measures 74.8 x 159.6 x 8.1 mm, weighs 189 grams, and supports IP67 level waterproof and dustproof.
In terms of performance, the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G uses the Samsung Exynos1280 processor, built with a 5nm process. The phone also supports the RAM Plus function, which can expand up to 8GB of virtual running memory.
Compared with the Galaxy A52 5G, the upgrade of this phone lies in the 5nm Exynos 1280 chip, whose CPU multi-core performance has been improved by 18% and GPU performance has been improved by 43%.
The phone is equipped with 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage space, supports microSD card expansion, and does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
In terms of imaging, the phone is equipped with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 6MP OIS wide-angle lens, a 5MP depth of field and a 5MP macro lens, a 32MP front camera, and Samsung has improved the AI camera to improve low-light photography. The improved night mode can now synthesize up to 12 images at a time for better night photos.

Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy A53 5G will receive four years of Android operating system upgrades and five years of security updates, and will be available in select markets starting April 1.
Galaxy A33
The Galaxy A33 will be available on April 22, with a higher initial price than the A32. The version with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will be sold in the UK at a starting price of £329, which is about £80 higher than when the Galaxy A32 5G was released.
But the upgrade of this phone is significant. It can even be said that the Galaxy A33 is a completely different phone from previous models. It has IP67 waterproof, fast charging and other functions, as well as a good chip and a 90Hz display.
The Samsung Galaxy A33 features a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 800 nits peak brightness.
Samsung has used its latest 5nm Exynos 1280 chip in the Galaxy A33, so it is exactly the same as the Galaxy A53 in terms of performance.
In other aspects, the phone uses a 48MP OIS main camera, supplemented by 8MP ultra-wide-angle, 2MP depth of field and 5MP wide-angle lenses, built-in 5,000mAh battery, supports 25W charging, pre-installed Android 12 and One UI 4.1, and provides four years of Android operating system upgrades and five years of security updates.
