This week, Samsung will push the One UI 2.1 update for the 2018 Note flagship Galaxy Note 9. It is expected that the update will be pushed in South Korea first, but German users have already received the update before Korean users. The firmware version launched in Germany is N960FXXU5ETF5, which includes the June 2020 security patch.
The One UI 2.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 does not bring all the features of One UI 2.1 on the Galaxy S20 series, but it adds Quick Share and Music Share features, allowing users to share files and Bluetooth audio connections with other devices.
In the camera app, Samsung has added a single shot mode that lets you take a series of photos and videos when you tap the shutter button, while also allowing you to create custom filters. The pro video recording feature has also returned after being removed with the One UI 1.0 update. This is a full version that lets you control shutter speed in addition to parameters like ISO and white balance.
IT Home learned that it may take some time for the Galaxy Note 9 in other markets to receive the One UI 2.1 update, while the Galaxy S9 and S9 + may start getting One UI 2.1 next week.
