Apple today pushed the watchOS 8.4 RC update (internal version number: 19S546) to Apple Watch users. This update was released 6 weeks after the last one.
Apple's update notes show that watchOS 8.4 fixes an issue that could cause some Apple Watch chargers to not work properly. Since the release of watchOS 8.3, Apple Watch users have been experiencing charging issues with some third-party chargers.
Last month, the Mobile ECG Atrial Fibrillation Alert software and the Mobile Pulse Rate Atrial Fibrillation Alert software were launched in China with watchOS 8.3 and iOS 15.2.
Users can download the watchOS 8 Beta description file through IT Home App - Discover - Apple Description File, and download and update watchOS 8.4 Beta through the Apple Watch app on iPhone.
watchOS 8 brings a redesigned Breathe app, as well as new portrait watch faces, Messages app, and Photos app. watchOS 8 runs on all Apple Watch models that support watchOS 7.
