Google has been working on a foldable smartphone for quite some time, and the device was previously known as the Google Pixel Fold.

Now, a new report from 9to5Google claims that Google’s first foldable smartphone will not be named Pixel Fold, but will be called Google Pixel Notepad.

The company is said to have considered the Google Pixel Longbook but ultimately opted for the Notepad, according to a person familiar with the matter.

In addition, the pricing details of the phone have also been revealed. The report claims that the Google Pixel Notepad will be priced lower than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3, which is priced at $1,799.

According to the information leaked so far, Google's foldable model will be equipped with its own Tensor chip, plus up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage space.
