On December 16, the Semiconductor and New Materials Science and Technology Division of the Shanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology issued the "Notice on Soliciting Proposals for Science and Technology Projects in the Semiconductor and New Materials Fields in Shanxi Province" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice").
The "Notice" clearly defines the key areas of solicitation, including new materials fields such as semiconductors, carbon-based new materials, special metal materials, advanced polymer materials, and advanced inorganic non-metallic materials.
The "Notice" points out that relying on the new material research and development, production and application foundation, industrial characteristics and advantages of Shanxi Province, the main solicitation directions (but not limited to) are: topological electronic material design, preparation and application; low-dimensional semiconductor material electronics and devices; carbon nanotube materials for integrated circuits; metamaterial design, preparation and application; intelligent material design, preparation and application; new generation semiconductor devices and integrated circuit research and development; organic optoelectronic functional semiconductor molecular materials; advanced semiconductor key device materials; new generation integrated circuit manufacturing materials; high-performance optoelectronic microelectronic magnetic electronic materials; acoustic/optical/electrical/magnetic/sensor materials; high-performance structural ceramics and their composite materials; sustainable development (energy Research and development and application of materials (sources, resources); research and development of material genomes based on the industrial base of our province; high-performance polymer structures and their composite materials; preparation and application of high-performance fibers and their composite materials; metal high-temperature structures and their composite materials; 3D (4D) printing and engineering structures and their composite materials; structural and functional integrated materials; surface engineering, design and manufacturing materials; preparation and application of special alloys such as high-temperature alloys, amorphous alloys, medium and high entropy alloys; new ultra-high strength steels (stainless, lightweight, plain, etc.) and their strengthening and toughening design and application; research and development and industrialization of high-performance non-ferrous metal alloys such as aluminum, magnesium, and copper; research and development and industrialization of new building materials; research and development and application of new biomedical materials.
