On the morning of December 20th, the Terra Carta environmental protection project of Prince Charles of the United Kingdom recently announced its official medal, which was designed by the company of Jony Ive, the former design director of Apple. The two have recently appeared in the public eye together.
As part of Prince Charles's Sustainable Markets Initiative, Ivey personally helped design the Terra Carta medal. This environmental company, founded this year, claims to focus on climate change and aims to "reunite humanity and the Earth by giving nature fundamental rights and values."
The Terra Carta badge was designed by Jony Ive, Apple's former design chief, as a paper + digital badge for companies that are leading the way in creating sustainable markets. It is part of the Terra Carta project, which aims to create a sustainable future through the participation of many companies.
The Terra Carta design, unveiled in November, features a circular design with a green or white background, intertwined plants and a crown on top with the words "For harmony between nature, people and the planet."
Foreign media Wallpaper reported that the first 45 companies that pledged to limit global warming received the Terra Carta medal this week. The list of winners was announced at the opening of the three-day Terra Carta Forum, including Amazon, Salesforce, HP, IBM, and TSMC.
In addition to the medal, Charles and Ivey launched a design competition in July to give students from London's Royal College of Art the opportunity to research various solutions to create a sustainable future, with successful ideas receiving financial support.
