Han's Laser: We have mature equipment products in the power battery tab cutting process

On November 25, Han's Laser (002008.SZ) stated on its investor interaction platform that it has mature equipment products and solutions for the power battery tab cutting process and has achieved mass sales.

In addition, an investor asked on the interactive platform whether Han's Laser produces semiconductor equipment and which well-known companies it supplies semiconductor equipment to. In response, Han's Laser said that the semiconductor industry-specific processing equipment produced by Han's Laser includes semiconductor laser grooving, semiconductor laser debonding, compound semiconductor laser cutting, etc., which are mainly used in the semiconductor packaging and testing industry.

Some industry insiders point out that the MiniLED market still has huge demand potential, and the further maturity of technology will eventually lead to a reduction in costs, thereby promoting MiniLED to penetrate various application markets.

From the perspective of the industry chain, all links such as materials, equipment, chips, packaging, modules, panels, and display screens are ready. Regarding the MiniLED market, Han's Laser stated earlier on the investor interaction platform that the main customers of Han's Laser's MiniLED cutting, splitting, stripping, and repair equipment are mainstream manufacturers in the LED chip industry.

According to the data, Han's Laser focuses on laser technology. After more than 20 years of development and technology accumulation, it has the vertical integration capabilities from core components, complete machine assembly to process solutions. In the first half of this year, Han's Laser reorganized its business structure and divided its main business into three business groups: general components and industry popular products, industry-specific machines, and extreme manufacturing. Its business scope will expand from equipment integrators in the downstream of the industrial chain to the core components of upstream equipment.

Its products mainly include general motion control systems, galvanometers, high-power fiber lasers, pulsed lasers, medium and low-power CO2 lasers, UV and ultrafast lasers, high-power laser focusing heads, pump sources, chillers, laser cutting machines, laser welding machines, laser marking machines and other products and solutions, which are widely used in various industries in the industrial field.

In terms of performance, in the first three quarters of this year, Han's Laser's revenue was approximately RMB 11.93 billion, a year-on-year increase of 34.67%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was approximately RMB 1.5 billion, a year-on-year increase of 47.06%. As for the reasons for the growth in performance in the first three quarters, Han's Laser said that in the first three quarters, all main businesses were carried out in an orderly manner, the demand for consumer electronics business was good, and product orders maintained a steady growth compared with the previous year. Benefiting from the continuous improvement of the industry's prosperity, the orders and shipments of PCB industry special equipment business increased significantly compared with the same period last year.
