The latest 5G user numbers of the three major operators are announced: China Mobile is far ahead

The three major operators released their operating data for October 2021, showing that the number of 5G package users in my country exceeded 660 million.

China Mobile has 355.2 million 5G package users, with a net increase of 24.299 million in October and a cumulative net increase of 165 million this year;

China Unicom has 143.5 million 5G package users, with a net increase of 6.568 million in October and a cumulative net increase of 72.683 million this year;

The number of China Telecom's 5G package users is 168.5 million, with a net increase of 12.95 million in October and a cumulative net increase of 81.99 million this year.

Data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology showed that as of the end of October, the total number of mobile phone users of the three basic telecommunications companies reached 1.641 billion, a net increase of 46.94 million from the end of last year.

Interestingly, the number of 5G mobile phone terminal connections reached 471 million, a net increase of 273 million from the end of last year, indicating that many people have used 5G packages but have not yet changed to 5G phones.

In terms of broadband, as of the end of October, the total number of fixed Internet broadband access users of the three basic telecommunications companies reached 531 million, a net increase of 47.92 million households from the end of last year.

Among them, the number of fixed Internet broadband access users with access speeds of 100Mbps and above reached 490 million, accounting for 92.2% of the total number of users, an increase of 2.4 percentage points from the end of last year; the number of fixed Internet broadband access users with access speeds of 1000Mbps and above reached 25.25 million, a net increase of 18.85 million households from the end of last year.
