The patent abstract shows that the embodiment of the present application provides a touch method and electronic device based on a distorted fingerprint. Among them, the fingerprint sensor in the electronic device collects a first fingerprint image, the electronic device identifies the first distortion direction indicated by the first distorted fingerprint on the first fingerprint image, and operates the electronic device based on the first distortion direction. Therefore, the user no longer needs to operate the electronic device simply through the touch screen, but can also operate the electronic device through the distorted fingerprint collected by the fingerprint sensor, which is convenient for user operation, especially for the operation of large-screen electronic devices.
