Xiaomi phones have performed well in the high-end market in the past two years, but there are also some problems in system optimization and smoothness. Not long ago, Xiaomi set up a pioneer team to solve the problem. Yesterday, MIUI also did a Q&A with Mi fans and responded to issues such as power consumption and heating.

Some Mi fans complained that their 6,000-yuan phone (note: it should be Xiaomi 11 Pro/Ultra level) turned on the performance mode and ultra-high frame rate, but it became hot and power-consuming, and the game was set to 29 frames, which was not a good experience.

In response to this question, Zhang Guoquan, an executive of the MIUI business department, said that if ultra-high frame rate, ultra-high resolution and 5G are selected, the power consumption will be relatively high. The current strategy is around 47 degrees, and very strict temperature limiting measures will be adopted.

Zhang Guoquan said that with the recent rise in temperature, major manufacturers are introducing new temperature control standards, and the restrictions will be very aggressive if the temperature exceeds 45 degrees.

Zhang Guoquan also mentioned that Xiaomi is optimizing its mobile phone mode strategy to improve performance, balance and power saving modes. However, he also emphasized that the temperature still needs to be controlled. If the temperature exceeds a certain level, some restrictions must be implemented to meet the increasingly stringent 3C standards on the one hand; on the other hand, it also prevents users from playing with their mobile phones for a long time, which may cause low-temperature burns.
