According to foreign media GSMArena, Samsung's upcoming new Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch recently appeared in the FCC database. The watch will have two versions: Wi-Fi version and LTE version.
The Wi-Fi version is listed as SM-R880, while the LTE version is listed as SM-885U. Both watches support dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, GNSS positioning, and Bluetooth connectivity. In addition, the watch also supports 5W wireless charging.
The two versions of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch are 42mm and 46mm in size. The watch will run Google's Wear OS operating system, and the FCC database also shows that the watch supports local music playback.
Samsung plans to launch the watch before the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 foldable phones, which may be tentatively scheduled for August 11.
