Nubia has launched another gaming phone, the Red Magic 6R, with a starting price of 2,699 yuan, which is positioned lower than the Red Magic 6 smartphone series.
The Red Magic 6R has a 6.67-inch punch-hole AMOLED panel, a full HD+ resolution of 1080x2400, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, a peak brightness of 770nits, a DCI-P3 color gamut, 10-bit color, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
It is equipped with the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform and uses 6GB/8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM. In terms of storage, the phone offers UFS 3.1 storage options such as 128GB and 256GB.
Its battery is 4200mAh and supports 55W charging. For gamers, the 6R features game-triggered shoulder buttons that offer a response rate as low as 8.3ms and a sampling rate of 400Hz.
The 6R has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera that supports portrait selfie mode and full HD video recording. The 6R's rear camera system includes a Sony IMX682 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth lens.
The phone measures 163.04 x 75.34 x 7.8 mm and weighs 186g. As such, it is one of the thinnest and lightest gaming phones on the market.
In addition to releasing the standard version of Red Magic 6R, Nubia also released the 6R Fighting Buddha IP Limited Edition.
