It is reported that the engineer had contact with a confirmed case last week. After entering the company on Sunday, he was notified that the contact had been confirmed. He then left the site and isolated himself. Tests during the isolation period confirmed he was positive. We will continue to care for him and provide relevant consultation and assistance.
TSMC also immediately traced the employee's contact history within the company and confirmed that he had close contact with more than 10 people. They also left the site on the same day and were quarantined at home for 14 days. None of them currently have any discomfort symptoms.
