According to Jiwei.com on March 10, Huawei today launched the new Huawei Mate 40E, equipped with Kirin 990E chip. The 8GB+128GB version is priced at 4,599 yuan, and the 8GB+256GB version is priced at 5,099 yuan. Reservations will open at 18:08 today and will go on sale on March 18.
It is reported that Huawei Mate40E uses a 6.5-inch 68° curved screen with a resolution of 2376 × 1080, a screen refresh rate of 90Hz and a sampling touch rate of 240Hz. It supports 16.7 million colors and DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and has three colors: secret silver, bright black and glazed white.
Huawei Mate40E is equipped with Kirin 990E 5G SoC chip, adopts 7nm+ EUV process and Huawei Da Vinci architecture, has 14-core Mail-G76 GPU, supports 5G NSA/SA dual-mode full network access. The phone has a built-in 4200mAh battery and supports dual 40W wired and wireless super fast charging.
The Huawei Mate40E has a 13-megapixel super-sensing camera on the front (wide-angle, f/2.4 aperture), and a 64-megapixel wide-angle camera (f/1.9 aperture) + a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2 aperture) + an 8-megapixel telephoto camera (f/2.4 aperture, supports OIS optical image stabilization) on the back.
Compared with Huawei Mate40, the main difference is that the Kirin 9000E is replaced by Kirin 990E processor, the 50-megapixel wide-angle main camera is replaced by a 64-megapixel wide-angle main camera, and the price is reduced by 400 yuan.
