It is understood that the total investment of the project is 32 billion yuan, with a monthly production capacity of 138,000 pieces. It mainly produces 50-inch, 58-inch, 65-inch, and 70-inch 8K LCD panels and OLED panels, etc., and has established an optoelectronic display research institute to engage in research on new-generation display technologies and materials.
It is reported that the annual output value of the project is expected to reach 15 billion yuan, tax revenue of 1.3 billion yuan, and 3,500 new jobs. At the same time, it can attract more than 20 upstream and downstream supporting enterprises in the industrial chain, and the upstream and downstream supporting enterprises are expected to achieve an annual output value of 10 billion yuan and create 900 million yuan in tax revenue.
The Changsha 8.6-generation line is HKC's fourth panel production line. Previously, HKC built a high-generation LCD panel production line in Chongqing, Chuzhou and Mianyang, making HKC the world's fourth largest TV panel manufacturer.
