General Administration of Customs: my country exported 314.03 billion yuan of integrated circuits in 2020, an increase of 15%

On January 14, the State Council Information Office held a press conference. Li Kuiwen, spokesman of the General Administration of Customs and director of the Statistics and Analysis Department, introduced the import and export situation in 2020 and answered questions from reporters.

Li Kuiwen introduced that in 2020, my country's total import and export value with the other 14 RCEP member countries was 10.2 trillion yuan, an increase of 3.5%, accounting for 31.7% of my country's total import and export value during the same period. Among them, exports were 4.83 trillion yuan, an increase of 5%; imports were 5.37 trillion yuan, an increase of 2.2%. Specific analysis:

In terms of export commodities, the export of mechanical and electrical products was 2.6 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.3%, accounting for 53.8% of the total export value to RCEP member countries during the same period. Among them, integrated circuits were 314.03 billion yuan, an increase of 15%; automatic data processing equipment and its parts were 260.63 billion yuan, an increase of 11.1%. During the same period, the export of labor-intensive products was 944.8 billion yuan, an increase of 11.9%.

In terms of imported commodities, imports of integrated circuits were 1.08 trillion yuan, up 9.8%; automatic data processing equipment and its parts were 178.45 billion yuan, up 8%; iron ore was 496.35 billion yuan, up 14.7%; and plastics in primary forms were 156.33 billion yuan, down 0.3%.
