LG Electronics is planning to launch the LG Rollable, flagship LG Rainbow and entry-level LG Q83 devices in the first half of 2021. The company aims to be one of the first to market with rollable devices and other innovative products to expand its presence in the smartphone market.
Specifically, LG plans to launch its flagship phone, LG Rainbow, in March 2021. At the same time, the company also plans to launch its first rollable display phone and entry-level device Q83 at a similar time.
The LG Rollable is the second product in the company's "Explorer Project" and the device features a 6.8-inch display that can stretch to 7.4 inches. Currently, the company plans to start testing at the end of this month or early next month. The company will also decide on the release date of its flagship Rainbow phone based on the results of these tests.
According to KoreaITNews, the main advantage of the LG Rollable is its lightweight design. In addition, the smartphone will not suffer from the wrinkles or creases that affect most foldable devices.
