The total investment in the Shaoxing integrated circuit "10,000 mu and 100 billion" industrial platform project exceeds 300 billion

Today, the “Ten Thousand Acres and Ten Billion Yuan New Industrial Platform Promotion Conference”, one of the “Shenzhen-Shaoxing Week” series of activities hosted by the Shaoxing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Shaoxing Municipal Government, was held in Shenzhen.

According to reports, the integrated circuit "10,000 mu and 100 billion" industrial platform in Shaoxing Binhai New Area has attracted more than 70 industrial projects with a total investment of more than 300 billion yuan, including leading projects such as OmniVision Technology Project, SMIC Shaoxing Project, and Changdian Technology Project. Among them, the first phase of the SMIC Shaoxing project invested more than 8 billion yuan, creating a speed of reaching full production within one year. From the start of production in November last year to this year, the production capacity has reached 45,000 pieces in one year.

On November 24, the 2020 China (Shaoxing) Third Integrated Circuit Industry Summit was held in Shaoxing. At the event, 7 integrated circuit industry projects were signed, covering the design, manufacturing, material research and development, equipment and industrial park cooperation of the integrated circuit industry, with a total planned investment of more than 20 billion yuan. The first batch of contracts were signed for the image sensor base and test center construction project, the compound semiconductor production line project of SMIC Integrated Circuit Manufacturing (Shaoxing) Co., Ltd., and the China-Japan-Korea High-end Semiconductor Materials Industrial Park project of Zhejiang Zuicheng Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd.
