According to 36Kr, several people familiar with Huawei's senior management revealed that Huawei's Consumer BG is integrating with the Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU, and the overall person in charge is Huawei's Consumer Business CEO Yu Chengdong.

On May 27 last year, Ren Zhengfei signed an organizational change document, marking the official establishment of the Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU, which is under the management of the ICT Management Committee. With the establishment of the Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU, it not only shows that Huawei regards the intelligent automotive solution as one of the strategic focuses of future expansion, but also makes Huawei's three major BGs - Carrier BG, Enterprise BG and Consumer BG, and two major BUs - Cloud BU and Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU "matrix" run through the essence of Huawei's construction of an intelligent world where everything is connected.

It is reported that Huawei's departmental positioning for the Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU is to serve as the end-to-end business responsible entity in the field of intelligent vehicles, providing ICT components and solutions for intelligent vehicles to help companies build better cars.

Although there have been no significant changes in the business and organizational personnel of the Automotive BU and Consumer BG, several Huawei people analyzed to 36Kr that this situation is only temporary, and "senior leaders are likely already planning the final architecture and business logic."
