LG Electronics said on Monday it has increased production at its TV factory in Mexico to meet North American Black Friday and Christmas shopping demand, Yonhap News Agency reported.

It is reported that LG's TV factory in Reynosa, northeastern Mexico, has recently increased its production by 30% compared with the same period last year. All TVs produced in the Mexican factory will be sold to North America.

LG said its Mexican plant has been operating around the clock since July this year. It began full operations around August last year.

According to market research firm Omdia, global OLED TV shipments are expected to exceed 1 million units in the fourth quarter.

Omdia also expects that North American OLED TV shipments in the fourth quarter will increase 20% year-on-year as TV demand recovers from the epidemic.

As the world's largest OLED TV manufacturer, LG's revenue performance is also expected to be impressive.
