Sina Digital News, October 20th morning news, virtual reality equipment manufacturer HTC VIVE today officially announced the price, purchase channels, and latest updates of the newly integrated XR Suite virtual application package on VIVE Sessions, an online virtual conference platform in the HTC VIVE XR SUITE virtual application package.
In China, the basic version of this software suite, which supports PCs, tablets, mobile phones and most VR devices, can be downloaded for free; the professional version costs RMB 128 per user per month and RMB 1,088 per user per year; the enterprise version needs to be purchased separately.

The HTC Vive XR Suite virtual application suite includes five major application software: VIVE Sync, VIVE Sessions, VIVE Campus, VIVE Social, and VIVE Museum, which can help users communicate immersively in a virtual environment.

Today, the XR Suite virtual application package has a new user interface and an integrated account system. Users can access all software with just one account. The integrated interface greatly shortens the time it takes to learn the software. Ordinary users who only attend meetings and events can download it for free from the VIVEPORT VR App Store. For users who need to create meetings and events, etc., the professional version package can be purchased on the official website.
Chinese users can also download the basic version package on JD Cloud Mall, or learn more about the product on Zhiyuan Internet Mall. The software in the package will be continuously optimized to support the daily behaviors of enterprises and consumers with work, study and entertainment as the main needs with more complete and powerful functions.
The newly integrated XR Suite virtual application package mainly includes the following functions:
1. Single Sign-On (SSO): Use one account to securely log in and access all XR Suite software;
2. Applicable to multiple terminal devices: Supports comprehensive interaction with PCs, mobile phones, tablets and most major VR devices;
3. Support global access: The server optimization can provide stable services for access from different regions around the world. It has an enhanced multi-language user interface (UI) and local support for each region;
4. Deep linking: You can easily enter any virtual scene from a simple web link (coming soon);
5. Customizable avatar: Customize your most distinctive avatar;
6. Unified UI/UX: The appearance of all software in the package has been unified. Customized 3D interface has its own characteristics;

At the press conference, HTC also announced the progress of cooperation with many partners. PC brand HP pre-installed Vive XR Suite virtual application package in its mainstream thin and light business notebook, which is expected to be available for sale at the end of 2020. HTC Vive will also strengthen its close cooperation with partners such as NVIDIA to promote the popularization of XR Suite in various industries. Vive Wave partners such as Pico, iQiyi, and Skyworth will also continue to cooperate with HTC Vive to jointly develop the VR software and hardware industry.
At the conference, HTC Vive also announced that it will carry out in-depth business cooperation with JD Cloud in the fields of virtual reality, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things. HTC will provide support for XR Suite software products, and JD Cloud will provide overall cloud-based intelligent solutions, which will be deeply integrated with XR Suite products to jointly develop XR Suite application solutions based on the needs of the Chinese market and jointly explore and research new directions for the development of virtual reality technology and applications.
