On August 5, Samsung officially released the Galaxy Note 20 series, including the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Note 20, with more powerful configuration specifications, refreshed design, S Pen improvements, etc. However, this time the gap between the Samsung Note 20 and the Samsung Note 20 Ultra is huge.
Neither of Samsung's two Note20 flagships supports 45W fast charging. Earlier news said that the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will support 45W fast charging, but in fact it does not.
However, most users may not see any difference.
Because although the Galaxy S20 Ultra and Galaxy Note 10+ previously supported 45W charging, Samsung did not include a 45W charger in the box, but instead included a 25W charger.
To use 45W fast charging, users need to purchase optional accessories.
If you already have a 45W fast charging charger, then you can still charge the Galaxy Note 20 or Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with the 45W charger, but it will be limited to 25W.
In terms of battery life, the Samsung Note 20 is equipped with a 4300mAh battery, and the Note 20 Ultra is equipped with a 4500mAh battery, using a dual-cell design. Both models support up to 25W fast charging, and can be charged 50% in 30 minutes.
Despite this, the Galaxy Note 20/Ultra still regressed in terms of fast charging hardware configuration.
