Considering that this is the Beta version of Android 11 and the system is not stable enough, many Pixel users choose to downgrade back to Android 10 after upgrading to Android 11. However, new bugs were found after the downgrade.
According to 9to5Google, many users reported that facial recognition did not work after downgrading Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL back to Android 10, and the system prompted that facial information could not be entered.
Google acknowledged the error and said it would fix the bug in subsequent versions. 9to5Google reminds users that Pixel 4 series users who have upgraded to Android 11 should be cautious about downgrading, otherwise facial recognition will not work. Since Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL only support 3D face recognition and do not have fingerprints, if an error occurs after downgrading, they can only use traditional passwords or patterns to unlock, which will reduce security.
It is worth mentioning that in addition to the Pixel 4 series, the OnePlus 8 series, realme X50 Pro series, Xiaomi 10 series, Xiaomi POCO F2 Pro, Find X2 series, etc. will all try Android 11 this month, which is worth looking forward to.
