At the same time as the new iPhone SE was released, Apple abandoned the iPhone 8 series. This step was indeed a bit too hasty. Why do I say that? Because the replacement for the iPhone 8 Plus has not yet appeared.
The new iPhone SE uses a 4.7-inch display and is almost identical in design to the iPhone 8. It also retains the top and bottom bezels, and a Home button with Touch ID, but no Face ID. You can think of it this way: it is actually an iPhone 8 with a slightly upgraded configuration. The 5.5-inch version of the iPhone 8 Plus has no successor yet.
Foreign media previously discovered traces of "iPhone SE Plus" in the program code of iOS 14, suggesting that the new generation of iPhone SE may have a 5.5-inch large-screen version.
If this model exists, it is expected that the "Plus" will use the same mold as the iPhone 8 Plus, which means it will be equipped with a rear dual camera, with a wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens, and the portrait shooting capability will be further improved. Of course, the price should start at 4,000 yuan.
It should be noted that a previous report by well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also pointed out that Apple has prepared a larger version of the iPhone SE, but it will not be released until next year or later.
