On November 14, Nawei Technology stated on an interactive platform that, to date, the company's MEMS business and new factory have not been affected by trade frictions; the equipment ordered for the construction of the Beijing MEMS production line mainly comes from Europe, Japan and the United States, none of which comes from a single monopoly manufacturer in the United States, and equipment procurement has not encountered any obstacles so far; after the clean room is ready and powered on, the equipment can be moved in and installed and debugged, and these tasks are being intensively advanced.

In addition, an investor asked Nawei Technology whether the company has products and technologies applied to TWS earphones?

In response, Nawei Technology said that the company has been providing MEMS process development and wafer manufacturing services to customers in a wide range of fields. As for the consumer MEMS microphone products for which the company provides related services, the company does not know whether the relevant customers will apply them to TWS headset products.

Regarding the chairman's share reduction, Nawei Technology stated on the interactive platform: The company respects the rights of all shareholders to buy and sell the company's shares legally and in compliance with regulations; the company's chairman holds a high proportion of shares. Although there is no risk of liquidation, this situation will continue and will lead to many disadvantages. Appropriate share reduction is mainly to repay debts and reduce the pledge ratio, which does not mean that the company is not optimistic about its long-term development.

It is reported that Nawei Technology was established in 2008 and has long been engaged in the research and development, production and sales of inertial navigation systems and satellite navigation products. It has formed independent research and development and production capabilities covering the entire range of "inertial navigation + satellite navigation + combined navigation".

In 2016, Navtech acquired Silex, a pure MEMS foundry company in Sweden, and officially entered the MEMS field as its key development and investment direction. In November 2016, Navtech announced that it would invest in the construction of the "8-inch MEMS international foundry line construction project" in Beijing. The project has been supported by the National Integrated Circuit Industry Fund and is currently under construction at a high speed.
