Recently, negative news about e-cigarettes has emerged in an endless stream, bringing great public pressure to the industry.

According to a report by U.S. health officials, the number of confirmed and suspected lung disease cases caused by e-cigarette smoking has risen from 380 a week ago to 530. As the number of confirmed cases related to e-cigarettes continues to increase, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued a warning to the American public that "e-cigarettes are very harmful", and the U.S. government and some companies have also launched a combination of measures to crack down on e-cigarettes.

According to a report from Xinhua News Agency, an international research team recently published a report in the British journal Scientific Reports saying that regardless of whether e-cigarettes contain nicotine, some flavored e-cigarettes can damage the respiratory tract and aggravate respiratory diseases such as asthma.

Even so, Luo Yonghao, CEO of Smartisan Technology, which is related to the e-cigarette industry, is still optimistic about the industry. He quoted a report from Beijing Youth Daily:

"Evidence shows that the cannabis oil used by more than 500 patients with lung disease was illegally manufactured and is a street drug, and has nothing to do with e-cigarettes sold through legal channels." David Abram, a professor at New York University, told CBS, "If all American smokers switch to e-cigarettes, at least 7 million lives will be saved. This is the biggest opportunity to improve public health in 120 years."

So what do you think of the views in the report cited by Luo Yonghao?
