OnePlus announced today that the OnePlus 7T series of phones will be released in India and North America on September 26. The series is expected to include two models, the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro, which will serve as follow-ups to the two phones released by the company earlier this year. After the release on September 26, OnePlus will also hold a third event in London on October 10, when more new products will be released.
The invitation letter from OnePlus did not provide much information about the new phone, but confirmed that the new phone will be equipped with a 90Hz display. The OnePlus 7 Pro is equipped with a 90Hz display, but the regular version is not equipped with one. The current speculation is that both the Pro and non-Pro versions of the 7T will be equipped with a 90Hz screen, but it is not certain.
In addition, current rumors show that the OnePlus 7T series will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor, and the battery will be increased from 4,000mAh to 4,085mAh in the Pro version and from 3,700mAh to 3,800mAh in the regular version.
There's no word yet on pricing or a release date for the new phones.
