Today, Xiaomi MIUI released a public account, announcing that Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo have established a mutual transfer alliance, which will start public beta in the near future and eventually realize one-click cross-brand transfer.

The top three domestic mobile phone brands, OPPO, Xiaomi, and vivo, announced their cooperation today. Specifically, Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo jointly established the Inter-Transfer Alliance, which aims to bring users a better file transfer experience.

The "inter-transfer" mentioned by the three companies is somewhat similar to the "AirDrop" function in Apple devices, which transfers files point-to-point via WiFi or Bluetooth. However, it is almost impossible to transfer files between Android phones, which is also the demand of many Android users. This time, Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo have joined forces to solve this problem.

Xiaomi officially stated that the mutual transmission function after the three parties are connected has the characteristics of fast operation, fast transmission, low power consumption, no need for traffic and third-party applications, and cross-brand file transfer and data migration can be achieved with one touch. It can transfer pictures, files, songs, installation files, video files and even folders at the same time.

From a technical point of view, it should rely on Bluetooth, NFC and other protocols, with speeds reaching 20MB/s.

The inter-transfer feature is expected to be launched at the end of August, and will eventually enable one-click inter-transfer across brands. Xiaomi also calls on more friendly companies to join the alliance and build an ecosystem together.
