Huawei Mate 20 series welcomes major update: Moon mode and Ark compiler added

Today, Huawei's product manager announced that Huawei's Mate 20 series has ushered in a major update, with the addition of two heavyweight features: Moon Mode and Ark Compiler.

The specific models are: Mate 20 All Network Edition HMA-AL00, Mate 20 Mobile Custom Edition HMA-TL00, Mate 20 Pro All Network Edition LYA-AL00, LYA-AL10, Mate 20 Pro Mobile Custom Edition LYA-TL00, Mate 20 RS Porsche Design LYA-AL00, Mate 20 X All Network Edition EVR-AL00, Mate 20 X Mobile Custom Edition EVR-TL00.

There are five points to note when upgrading:

1. Due to version restrictions, please be sure to upgrade to version 9.1.0.120 or 9.0.0.200 (Mate 20 and Mate 20 X)/9.0.0.201 (Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 RS Porsche Design) first, otherwise you will not receive version push.

2. This version upgrade will not clear user data, but it is recommended to back up all important data to a PC or cloud before upgrading, and confirm that the backup content is complete and valid.

3. Since some third-party apps are incompatible with EMUI 9.1, third-party apps may not work properly after the upgrade (such as flashback, freeze, power consumption, etc.). It is recommended that you try to update the app to the latest version in the Huawei App Store.

4. Please make sure your phone is not ROOT.

5. Please make sure that your phone has more than 6G of internal storage space, otherwise there will be a risk of upgrade failure. (To check the storage space: Settings - Storage).
