According to the report, the relevant person in charge of the Science and Technology Bureau of Chaoyang District, Beijing, will focus on the research of 5G base station construction in 2019 this year. It will plan to build 8 micro base stations and 24 5G macro base stations in the CBD area of Chaoyang District, achieve full coverage of 5G network in pilot areas such as CBD, assist the construction and development of Chaoyang's information infrastructure, create a 5G commercial demonstration area, and build an "Internet +" and a new generation of smart city industry ecosystem that is "networked, intelligent, service-oriented, and collaborative".
Data shows that the business environment in Beijing's CBD continues to improve, making it the first choice for foreign-funded enterprises to enter the Chinese market. The total number of foreign-funded enterprises in the CBD has exceeded 10,000 for two consecutive years. In 2018 alone, nearly 700 new foreign-funded enterprises were registered, a year-on-year increase of more than 130%. Foreign-funded enterprises generated nearly 60 billion yuan in tax revenue, accounting for 44% of the total tax revenue in the CBD. At present, there are 86 regional headquarters of multinational companies in the CBD, accounting for 50% of Beijing, and the tax contribution exceeds 10 billion yuan.
