DiBcom (hereinafter referred to as DiBcom) recently announced the launch of its new product DIB10096. DIB10096 is a circuit based on the programmable, multi-standard Octopus platform, which can support Japan's ISDB-T Full-Seg, One-Seg and Europe's DVB-T, the two most widely used standards in the world today. With the recent launch of the ISDB-T standard in Brazil, Argentina and Chile, the use of these two standards has become more widespread. DIB10096: A high-performance, flexible solution!
The DIB10096 from DiBcom provides customers with high-performance, flexible solutions to address the various issues associated with the proliferation of global TV standards. New features of the DIB10096 include Full-Seg reception (supporting 1080p HD) and integrated Multi-2 descrambling for protecting Japanese HD broadcasts. By integrating DiBcom technology, TV receiver manufacturers can provide digital mobile TV in HD and non-HD ISDB-T (Brazil, Argentina, Chile) and DVB-T (Colombia, Uruguay) standards for South America.
Dikang: Providing various mobile TV reception solutions worldwide
The new chip is aimed specifically at the market for digital mobile multimedia players, such as GPS, mobile phones and data cards (3G data card + TV). These areas are becoming increasingly important in Europe, as well as in Asia and South America, as digital TV is gaining a foothold by offering more programs and higher picture quality. Even more, manufacturers are constantly developing new products to offer customers even more powerful features. In South America, multimedia devices with mobile TV functions are particularly popular, with which consumers can watch TV without having to buy a specific TV receiver. Smartphones with large HD screens, thanks to the iPhone, are in great demand for HD mobile TV, especially in South America ahead of the World Cup.
