On the evening of August 29, @Huawei EMUI officially announced that the revolutionary Ark compiler will be officially open source on August 31.

On April 11, Yu Chengdong officially released the Ark Compiler at the Huawei P30 series new product launch conference, and said that the compiler can improve the compilation efficiency of Android applications, transforming from the original Android's interpretation and execution to the full machine code to efficiently run the program, improving the fluency of the phone from the system level.

It is reported that the Ark compiler is the first static compiler that completely replaces the language virtual machine, which can take into account both Java development efficiency and C language operation efficiency. At the same time, it can also increase the system fluency by 24%, the system response speed by 44%, and the operation fluency of third-party applications such as Sina Weibo Express Edition by 60%.
