Tesla's humanoid robot will be unveiled at the 2023 World Congress in Shanghai, in addition to the HKUST Xunji robot dog and NetEase Fuxi embodied engineering robot.
Tesla's humanoid robot Optimus Prime is a humanoid robot that Tesla began producing in 2023. The Optimus Prime robot uses Tesla's battery pack, cooling system and other technologies; it also has the same visual perception as Tesla cars, using cameras to input data for calculations. It is also equipped with Tesla's technology based on the predictive ability of the visual neural network nervous system.
The Tesla Optimus Prime humanoid robot is about 173 cm tall, weighs about 56 kg, walks at a speed of about 8 km per hour, and can carry up to 20 kg of items.
The 2023 World Artificial Intelligence Conference will be held in Shanghai from July 6 to 8. The theme of this AI conference is "Intelligently Connected World Generates the Future". It is co-organized by the Shanghai Municipal Government and seven departments including the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Cyberspace Administration of China, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the China Association for Science and Technology. The conference will give full play to its important role as a "technology weather vane, application display platform, industry accelerator, and governance forum", bringing together the thoughts and wisdom, cutting-edge technologies, industrial trends, and humanistic ecology in the field of global artificial intelligence, and promoting the healthy and innovative development of artificial intelligence.
The 2023 World Artificial Intelligence Conference will focus on ten cutting-edge trends, including big models, intelligence, scientific intelligence, robots, brain-like intelligence, metaverse, autonomous driving, data forum, rule of law and security. In addition, more than 20 robots will be unveiled at the 2023 World Artificial Intelligence Conference.
