Industry Background
Range hoods play an important role in kitchen appliances and can purify the air environment in the kitchen. In the context of the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the market penetration rate of range hoods is getting stronger and stronger, mainly because people's awareness of safety has been improved and their pursuit of quality of life has been getting higher and higher.
Customer pain points
Range hoods have a huge market, and improving production efficiency and seizing market dividends are the goals of many range hood manufacturers. However, the traditional range hood industry faces the following difficulties in production:
1. Traditional range hood manufacturers use manual production, and fewer and fewer young people of the new generation enter the factory to work, resulting in increasingly high labor costs and difficulty in recruiting workers.
2. Manual production has low production efficiency, unstable product quality and low yield rate, which affects market sales.
Customer needs
In the process of development, the range hood industry has the following new demands:
1. Improve product quality and reduce customer complaints;
2. Improve production efficiency and capacity;
3. Reduce employment costs and reduce pressure on personnel demand;
4. Compatible with multiple products;
5. Create the industry’s first demonstration line to enhance the company’s strength.
Solution
1. Introduce robots to assist the production of range hood industry!
2. The first smoke hood riveting and labeling line in China. The production line is 13 meters long and is equipped with 3 six-axis robots, 4 four-axis SCARA robots, and 3D vision disordered grasping technology, which realizes the main process of riveting and assembling the smoke hood.
3. The assembly process of the integrated hood is fully automated. The automated production line includes riveting of the hood (T-tower type) and the rear plate of the hood, riveting of the oil cup corners, locking hexagonal nuts, laser marking, stripping of energy efficiency labels, and pasting of energy efficiency labels. The production line uses conveyor belts + mechanical positioning + robots to achieve automated riveting and labeling. It integrates the fully automated PUR gluing process of the previous hood workshop to achieve fully automated loading, transmission, fully automated riveting and labeling, and laser marking of the hood, the rear plate of the hood, the oil cup corners, and the hexagonal nuts. The overall system includes a series of mechanisms such as transmission and positioning mechanisms, robots, hood rear plate loading and positioning fixtures, automatic label stripping machines, automatic labeling machines, automatic laser marking machines, automatic riveting equipment, and integrated control systems.
Effect Benefit
Compared with the manual production line, the number of staff on the automated production line is reduced from 8 to 1, the cycle time is increased from 55 seconds to 25 seconds, and the scratches and scratches on the hoods during transportation are greatly reduced, with a yield rate of over 98%.
