The electric rolling door is triggered by the door opening sensor providing a trigger signal to the control system. The control system sends a command to the frequency converter according to the current position of the rolling door, starting the drive motor to make the door curtain rise quickly. After vehicles and pedestrians pass, the door curtain automatically drops, closing the passage until the next door opening signal opens it again.
The application characteristics of electric rolling shutters are reciprocating motion and adjustable motion range. It is necessary to store the position and direction information sent by the Hall sensor to achieve high-reliability digital electronic positioning, so as to meet the needs of high-precision and high-reliability positioning of electric rolling shutters. This article mainly introduces the low-cost and high-reliability Zhongke Alpha AH701 Hall speed and direction sensor.
The AH701 from Zhongke Alpha is a highly sensitive, temperature-stable magnetic sensor with two built-in speed and direction chips with Hall effect elements. Each element provides an independent digital signal output for speed and direction signal processing, making it very suitable for speed and direction systems based on circular magnetic fields in automotive applications and industrial environments.
The chip includes two Hall sensing elements 1.63 mm apart, including a Hall voltage generator, a voltage regulator with a power supply voltage of 3.8~30V, a temperature compensation circuit, a small signal amplifier, a dynamic offset elimination system Hall chip, a Schmitt trigger and an open-drain output, which is very convenient for processing speed and direction signals.
Typical application circuit
The main performance of Zhongke Alpha AH701 is as follows:
•With reverse voltage protection;
•Magnetic type: bipolar switch;
• Hall element spacing 1.63mm;
• Operating voltage range: 3.8~30V;
•ESD performance can reach ±5KV;
• Operating temperature range: from -40℃ to 150℃;
• Sensitivity: BOP=75Gauss, BRP=-75 Gauss;
•Package: TO-94 and SOP8 are available, and they comply with RoHS standards;
In summary, the application of the AH701 Hall speed and direction sensor of the Alpha AH701 in rolling shutter doors has high positioning accuracy and good repeatability, and can better meet the requirements of electric rolling shutter doors for positioning accuracy and stability.
