What signals does PLC control servo need to achieve positioning control? Here are two types of control:
1. If we use the open collector method of PLC pulse output to control the servo motor, then we must have two basic signals: pulse signal and direction signal. The pulse signal can only be sent by the high-speed pulse output port of PLC, and the direction signal can be any signal. Of course, not all of them are. Some PLC direction signals also have fixed ports.
2. If we use the differential output mode of PLC pulse output mode, which is what we commonly call dual pulse control mode, this control mode requires two pulses, that is, forward and reverse pulse control, and both signals need to be pulsed by the high-speed pulse port. In addition to the above basic signals, the servo enable signal, servo alarm signal, and servo alarm signal reset signal are also required. With these basic signals, PLC positioning control servo can be completed.
Of course, some also require deviation counter reset signal, Z phase return signal, etc. In other words, the PLC control servo positioning signal is not absolute, and the signal usage varies depending on the control purpose.
