The 18th Beijing Auto Show is still in full swing.
The Beijing Auto Show, which resumed after a four-year absence, was unprecedentedly popular. Not only did mainstream vehicle manufacturers participate in the exhibition, bringing more than 100 world-first models, but Tier 1 companies also made full efforts to actively participate in the exhibition with new technologies and new products.
During this Beijing Auto Show, not only was there a special exhibition area for parts in the Chaoyang Pavilion, but also in the Shunyi Pavilion, in addition to the whole vehicle exhibition area, there were also exhibition areas for intelligent driving future and parts. According to official information, the Shunyi Pavilion alone attracted nearly 100 ecological chain companies to participate in the exhibition.
The enthusiasm of Tier 1 enterprises to participate in the exhibition was fully mobilized, which was a major highlight of this Beijing Auto Show. The special exhibition area for intelligent driving future indirectly confirmed that in the current domestic automobile market, intelligence has become an unavoidable core topic. In addition, it is worth mentioning that at this auto show, the topic of cross-domain integration has become the hottest topic. Technology companies represented by Beidou Zhilian are promoting China's automobile intelligent industry into a new stage.

Smart cars enter a new stage
The trend of highly integrated electronic and electrical architecture of the whole vehicle is becoming more and more obvious. Especially in the two core sectors: intelligent driving and intelligent cabin, the scale and integration are rapidly improving.
Gasgoo Automotive Research Institute The configuration data compiled shows that in 2023, the delivery volume of cockpit domain control pre-installed standard configuration in the Chinese market will reach 3.476 million sets, and the installation rate will increase to 16.5%; the delivery volume of intelligent driving domain control pre-installed will be 1.839 million sets, and the installation rate will increase to 8.7%. While the popularity continues to soar, with the continuous breakthrough of high-performance chip computing power, the cross-domain integration between the two functional domains has also become a hot topic in the current industry.
The integration of cabin and cockpit has reached the final moment of large-scale mass production and delivery.
Zhang Jingfeng, general manager of Beidou Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., said in an interview with Gasgoo during the auto show that the next two years will be a key time node for large-scale mass production and application of integrated cockpit products. Among them, single-chip integrated cockpit products are expected to be mass-produced in 2025, and the mass production time of multi-chip solutions may be even earlier.

Then the question is, why has cabin-driver integration become a new industry trend? Zhang Jingfeng told Gasgoo that with the continuous optimization of chip performance, software technology level and architecture solutions, cross-functional domain integration has the necessary technical conditions. And the advantages of integrated integration can be said to be all-round, which can save hardware structure, cooling system, electronic devices, interfaces, wiring harnesses, cockpit space, etc., reduce costs, and significantly optimize the driving performance of the whole vehicle.
Zhang Jingfeng concluded that reducing the number of controllers can save volume space, thereby bringing better space performance to the entire vehicle product and achieving better cost control. It can also reduce structural complexity, further optimize design management, and improve system reliability.
Of course, one chip solves all the "work" in the two fields of intelligent driving and intelligent cabin, which will definitely put forward higher requirements for hardware and software systems. "From the perspective of the entire industry, the hardware system problem is no longer a big problem," Zhang Jingfeng pointed out, "software processing capabilities are the key to determining future success or failure." At present, Beidou Zhilian's single-chip cabin-driving integrated system is already in a leading position in the industry. Beidou Zhilian is one of the very few companies in China that already has the foundation for productization.

In the future, the large-scale implementation of cockpit-driving integrated products may face several problems. First, a very direct problem is that in the organizational structure of most OEMs, smart cockpits and smart driving are developed by two teams. How to coordinate a product of a Tier 1 company with the two departments of the OEM is the primary problem that needs to be solved.
Secondly, before achieving mass production, more technical details need to be polished. Integrating the smart cabin and smart driving requires taking into account all issues in the two functional domains. Smart driving emphasizes high reliability and requires timely response; the smart cabin emphasizes openness and needs to create an entertainment ecosystem. To efficiently integrate the two, the requirements for the enterprise technology pool are very high.
The biggest reason why Beidou Zhilian is able to lead the industry in the field of cabin-driver integration is its long-term focus on the fields of smart cockpits and smart driving, and the accumulated relevant experience, technology and intelligent manufacturing capabilities.

For mainstream high-cost-effective customers, Beidou Zhilian's cabin-driver integrated system based on Qualcomm SA8155P chip realizes the sharing of sensors, chip computing power, algorithms, and system resources, and deeply integrates cockpit signals with intelligent driving signals. It can not only significantly reduce costs and increase efficiency, but also bring a more user-friendly human-computer interaction experience and a safer and more comfortable user experience.
For high-end customers, Beidou Zhilian has created Qualcomm's new generation SA8775 high-computing power cabin-driving fusion chip platform, which has comprehensively improved the functions and performance of the cockpit and intelligent driving. High-end product functions such as HPP memory parking, CMS electronic rearview mirror, ADAS driving, AI large model, ultra-high-definition integrated screen display, immersive games, etc. are all available in one step.
In addition, at this auto show, Beidou Zhilian also exhibited new products such as binocular ADAS all-in-one machine and distributed big data cloud platform, all of which are "black technologies" at the forefront of the industry.
The binocular ADAS all-in-one adopts core technologies such as stereo binocular deep learning network and image processing algorithm to provide vehicles with a safe and stable driving experience. When introducing binocular ADAS, Zhang Jingfeng pointed out that compared with monocular ADAS, the core advantage of binocular ADAS is reflected in stereo perception, which is combined with CDC shock absorption or suspension system to realize the "magic carpet" function. In the past, the reason why "ghost peeking" became an industry disease in the field of intelligent driving was that the previous ADAS function made it difficult to judge sudden road participants such as "ghost peeking", but the application of Beidou Zhilian's binocular ADAS can solve this problem well through stereo perception.
