According to reports, the price of the 4G version of the smart cockpit upgrade package is 6,900 yuan, and the price of the 5G version of the smart cockpit upgrade package is 12,600 yuan. Orders will be accepted on the NIO App on June 30, and the upgrade will be available in mid-to-late July.

Specifically, the upgrade services include a new digital cockpit domain controller including an 8155 computing platform, an 8-megapixel DVR high-definition camera, four 3-megapixel high-sensitivity surround-view cameras, a 2.5-megapixel cabin camera, a rain and light sensor, a new 5G high-performance central gateway, two 5G antennas, a new exterior rearview mirror and a ceiling control area assembly.

Since it is not just a simple replacement of chips, the price will naturally be higher. According to Li Bin, it costs about 10,000 yuan to replace these assemblies for a single bicycle.
