In recent years, smart cars have developed rapidly, and various manufacturers have brought out their own "signature skills", and more and more intelligent assisted driving systems have been unveiled.

Baidu has always been at the forefront of the industry in terms of autonomous driving. At last year's "Apollo Day" technology development day, Baidu launched its first remote driving solution - Apollo 5G Cloud Driver Enterprise Edition.

It is reported that the system will be equipped with a 5G cloud driving safety officer. When the vehicle is driving automatically, if it encounters emergencies such as temporary road changes or traffic control, the 5G cloud driving safety officer will initiate remote assistance and take over the vehicle to help the vehicle handle the situation.

Recently, a video about Baidu Apollo 5G cloud driving was released. From the video, we can see that there are two screens in front of each 5G cloud driving safety officer. The small screen below should display the parameters of the vehicle during driving, and the large screen above has three perspectives of the vehicle while driving.

It is understood that its self-driving vehicles have developed from a single model of the fourth generation to three models of the fifth generation, namely Apollo Moon Polar Fox Edition, Weimar Edition, and Aion Edition. And now it has completed commercial deployment, which can realize the operation of multiple unmanned vehicles with one cockpit, which can effectively reduce operating costs.

Baidu has long announced that it will invest in the research of driverless systems, and has been conducting road tests continuously. Not long ago, Baidu's driverless fleet also completed its first live broadcast. Xiaodaoge believes that if this technology can really be improved and popularized in the future, it will be very helpful in reducing costs and driving safety. However, at present, there are still many limitations, such as whether the network connection is stable, and what to do if it is disconnected? I wonder if Baidu can solve these problems in the future. Do you have anything to say about this? Come and leave a message in the comment area!
