"One chip, multiple screens" in-vehicle intelligent cockpit solution RK3588M
This time, the conference focused on the release of the "one chip, multiple screens" smart cockpit solution equipped with RK3588M. From the on-site exhibition area, Rockchip RK3588M smart cockpit solution is centered on the in-vehicle infotainment system, LCD instrument panel, electronic rearview mirror, and rear headrest screen to form a reliable intelligent network system. Users can have various interactive experiences through these screens.
In the application of smart cockpit, RK3588M has four major features:
Flagship-level high-performance CPU, GPU and NPU
Supports up to 16-channel 1080p 30fps camera access, and a single chip can support ADAS/DMS/BSD/APA multi-camera assisted driving
Up to 6Tops NPU, hybrid quantization and multi-model parallel computing, AI processing capabilities comparable to edge computing boxes
Rich display interfaces support multi-screen display, high-speed interfaces support various peripheral expansions, suitable for platform applications
The RK3588M smart cockpit solution can be equipped with 6 screens, each with different responsibilities. Among them, the LCD instrument screen at the core position is supported by an independent RK3588M chip.
The remaining five screens are driven simultaneously by an RK3588M chip, and the central control uses a 2K resolution screen. The two electronic rearview mirrors on the left and right sides use 1024*600 resolution screens, which can effectively reduce blind spots and provide a safer driving environment. Two rear headrest screens are installed on the seats, both with 2K resolution, which can provide passengers with a high-quality entertainment experience. RK3588 can support up to 16 1080P camera inputs. The solution uses a 360-degree surround view algorithm to feed back the external environment data collected by the sensor to the screen in real time, allowing the driver to quickly understand the surrounding environment and provide timely reminders before danger occurs.
