Conventional comparison methods such as battery life and product performance are nothing new, while smart cockpits and autonomous driving technology have become a track for many brands to accumulate strength. Although new energy products from traditional forces came late, they have firmly grasped this traffic window. Not only that, many top suppliers also participated independently in this auto show. In this auto show's new experience series, let's take a look at several representative smart driving cockpits.
Huawei HI car
Huawei and BAIC Motors jointly exhibited at adjacent booths this time. Before the exhibition, a video was exposed online, showing that the Alpha S equipped with Huawei's ADS system successfully achieved unmanned driving under complex road conditions. Therefore, the Huawei booth this time attracted many bigwigs to watch in person.
Huawei has repeatedly stressed that it does not manufacture cars, but only makes good cars for car companies. However, judging from the current trend, Huawei's ambition covers all movable tools, in addition to vehicle manufacturing and power batteries. At this auto show, Huawei's booth covers integrated perception solutions, intelligent driving computing platform, intelligent car cloud services, intelligent cockpits, intelligent electric vehicles and other fields.
Huawei opened its smart cockpit experience at the auto show, and reservations could be made on site by scanning the QR code. However, within about two hours of opening, all spots for the day were booked. Staff said that most of the experiencers were sightseeing groups from manufacturers and suppliers.
In actual experience, we also felt the characteristics of Huawei's Hongmeng OS. This smart cockpit can seamlessly connect the car computer with various mobile and wearable devices. Secondly, it eliminates the dashboard and uses the AR-HUD solution.
Huawei's HUD solution has a wide viewing angle of 13°*5°, which is equivalent to a 70-inch display screen 7.5 meters in front of the field of view. The brightness reaches 12,000 nits, and it can be displayed clearly both day and night, with a resolution of 1920*640 high-definition picture quality. Although not as lively as the Internet booth, Toyota Textile, one of the world's three largest automotive seat and interior manufacturers, also released its autonomous driving healthy cockpit "MOOX" for the first time at this auto show.
As a top global supplier, Toyota Boshoku's concept product undoubtedly foreshadows the future trend of Toyota's interior design. The entire cabin is very similar to the cabin of Toyota e-palette. Before entering the cabin, the system automatically senses the temperature and monitors whether the personnel are wearing masks. There are large screens on the rear side of the cabin, and the two screens can be linked.
At the scene, through the cooperation of cameras, sensors and lights, the experiencer can sit in the car and play gesture-based games and other operations. It is reported that the seemingly ordinary table below the screen is also equipped with sensors that can detect the health of the human body such as cardiovascular health. The staff said that in the future, in the application, the heart rate and pulse rate of the passengers can be calculated through the noise reduction processing algorithm even when the vehicle is driving.
According to reports, MOOX's cockpit is equipped with an autonomous driving OS "Autoware", which is mainly adapted to various usage scenarios such as sightseeing, business, games, and dining. It can be flexible and can be switched at any time, and can also be customized. The official revealed that it has invested heavily in researching various forward-looking technologies represented by autonomous driving healthy cockpits.
In addition, the virtual tourism content experience based on transparent displays and five-sense stimulation components can make the "MOOX" cabin emit sound, vibration, and fragrance according to the AR image of the car window. MOOX's mobile sightseeing product positioning can also provide passengers with some realistic scene experiences in combination with vehicle location information.
LANTU FREE
As a high-end new energy brand of traditional car companies, VOYAH has been creating a sense of luxury from concept to brand to product. In terms of smart cockpit experience, whether in terms of hardware or sensory interaction, it does not hide its confidence of "big store with plenty of ingredients".
The Lantu uses an integrated triple screen, and the screen can realize cross-screen interaction. Seeing this, it is easy to think of Ideal ONE. The difference is that the Lantu's triple screen is the first to have a lifting function. When you get in the car, the screen will automatically turn on and rise, and then it will automatically rise and fall according to different driving modes.
At the auto show, we found that many people were attracted by the lifting function and stopped to watch. Two visitors who were obviously professionals from foreign car manufacturers watched the screen for a long time and communicated with the staff of Lantu. They seemed to be more puzzled than curious. They asked about the intention of the design and the implementation of the project. The staff explained that on the one hand, it makes the interaction between people and cars more ceremonial, and on the other hand, the lifting multi-screen also provides a richer and more flexible interactive experience.
It can only be said that Chinese car manufacturers' consumer insights and technological follow-up are already ahead of many of their foreign counterparts.
There are four cockpit modes in the Lantu, namely, respect, awakening, high energy and children. Under different modes, the fragrance, music, navigation, seats, screen, locks, etc. in the car will be intelligently controlled. There is a FACE ID in the middle of the front window of the car, which can not only verify identity and security, but also support four common gesture interactions: taking pictures, muting, confirming and rejecting.
In addition to the static experience, Lantu is also equipped with AR real-scene navigation, Dynaudio audio, air suspension and other hard currencies. In addition, it will fully connect the ecological scenarios of car computers, mobile phones and smart homes based on the automotive-grade 5G T-BOX.

Zhiji Auto

As the second "crystal" of SAIC and Alibaba, Zhiji's car machine uses the software solution of Banma Zhixing. The car is also equipped with a three-screen that can be raised and lowered. However, Zhiji uses a 2+1 combination, and the co-pilot screen can be raised and lowered independently.
Zhiji is not satisfied with this row of large screens. In the lower central control area, it is also equipped with a separate 39-inch giant smart scene borderless screen, which supports multi-screen interaction modes such as "cross-screen interaction" and "one-finger flying screen".
Because it is still early for the actual car delivery, and the ET7 delivered at the same time has not yet opened the cockpit experience, many details and cockpit solutions of Zhiji are not complete. The sales staff repeatedly emphasized their identity as employee volunteers and that many parts of the actual car will be adjusted.
If you ask more details, you can even feel that the plan is still in the internal discussion stage and the partner has not been finalized. But there is no need to worry too much about Zhiji, after all, it is SAIC who is personally involved, so there is no fear that it will not be able to handle more information.
