In recent years, with the popularity of private cars, safety accidents of children being trapped in cars and suffocating are common. Recently, Netcom participated in the "Online Conference on Vital Signs Monitoring Technology" held by Great Wall Motors. At the conference, Great Wall Motors launched the vital signs monitoring technology, becoming the leading automobile company in China to realize vital signs monitoring.
The vital signs monitoring technology used on the WEY VV6 this time uses a high-precision, high-performance millimeter-wave radar. Even when the vehicle is stopped or locked, it can effectively eliminate the interference of stationary objects in the car and monitor the vital signs in the car in real time.
Many friends may not understand the practical significance of this technology. In fact, its biggest role is to prevent children or pets from being forgotten in the car. According to tests, when the outside temperature reaches 35°C in the hot summer, the temperature in the closed car will rise to about 65°C after 15 minutes of sunlight exposure. In a high temperature environment, children trapped in the car will quickly develop "heat stroke" and endanger their lives. With life detection technology, living organisms in the car can be monitored.
When the vehicle is turned off, all doors are closed, and the car is locked, the millimeter-wave radar will enter the normal monitoring state and begin to monitor the vital signs in the vehicle. Multiple cycles of monitoring will be performed during the default working period. If the timer expires and there are no vital signs, the normal monitoring mode will be exited. If vital signs are detected during the timing period, an alarm will be issued within 30 seconds, and continuous cyclic monitoring will be performed to ensure the monitoring accuracy of the remaining vital signs in the vehicle.
Compared with ordinary centimeter-wave radar, millimeter-wave radar detection technology has the advantages of strong penetration, high resolution, strong anti-interference ability, and high detection accuracy. It can maintain high-precision monitoring all day and all weather. In addition, the radar has been verified by environmental durability tests and can work normally in an environment of -40℃~+85℃. The chip of millimeter-wave radar can effectively use key algorithms such as stationary object elimination algorithm to eliminate false target interference, effectively classify living objects and other objects, and realize effective monitoring of living things in the car.
Undoubtedly, with the unprecedented development of intelligence today, the original attributes of cars can hardly meet the higher demands of users. More and more auxiliary functions appear on vehicles, which indeed bring us more convenience. The vital signs monitoring technology launched by Great Wall Motors will be first used on WEY 2021 VV6.
