Currently, many companies around the world are equipped with collision avoidance technology from Mobileye, a subsidiary of Intel. Mobileye is helping them reduce the rate of road collision accidents and effectively improve the safety of their fleets. Safety is particularly important for school bus fleets that transport students. Seman-Tov is a bus company headquartered in New Jersey, USA, which is responsible for picking up and dropping off 8,000 to 10,000 students every day. The company has installed Mobileye's advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) on its fleet. Data shows that the forward collision accident rate of vehicles equipped with the system has been reduced by at least 50%, and the driver's driving habits have also been significantly improved.

Seman-Tov began installing Mobileye's assisted driving equipment in its fleet in 2017 to help drivers better cope with challenges from both the road and the students in the car. During use, the company found that Mobileye's assisted driving system significantly improved the safety of the fleet, significantly reduced the forward collision rate of vehicles, and effectively saved the fleet's operating costs. Drivers said that they really liked the system's lane departure warning (LDW), forward collision warning (FCW) and other advanced features, and believed that Mobileye's assisted driving technology could help them better focus on the road.

The company has already installed Mobileye’s technology on more than 150 of its buses, and Seman-Tov drivers have praised the solution as a life-saving “second pair of eyes” that makes them more alert while driving and helps them pick up students safely. Today, the company is once again equipping all of its newly purchased buses with Mobileye’s assisted driving equipment, and drivers have said that Mobileye’s collision avoidance technology should be “popularized on every bus in the United States.”
