During MWC Shanghai (Mobile World Congress-Shanghai), Rohde & Schwarz (hereinafter referred to as "R&S") and Gaohong Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Information and Communications Technology Group, signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation based on Internet of Vehicles technology. In the future, the two parties will establish a long-term, close, and pragmatic strategic cooperation relationship in the field of Internet of Vehicles based on the principle of "complementary advantages, mutual benefit and win-win", regard each other as important strategic partners, give full play to their respective advantages, promote each other, jointly promote the coordinated development of each other in the field of Internet of Vehicles, and jointly promote the market landing of Internet of Vehicles technology and industry in China and even around the world. Mr. Zhao Desheng, Vice President of Gaohong Co., Ltd. and General Manager of the Internet of Vehicles Division, and Dr. Luo Shan, Global Vice President of Rohde & Schwarz and President of Greater China, attended the signing ceremony together.
As an important partner, Gaohong will work with R&S to launch a series of close strategic cooperation in the promotion of key technologies related to the Internet of Vehicles and product feature testing and verification. Next, the two parties will jointly build the "Datang Gaohong-Rohde & Schwarz Internet of Vehicles Joint Laboratory". Relying on the joint laboratory, the two parties will conduct regular technical exchanges and carry out in-depth cooperation in many aspects such as the promotion of Internet of Vehicles standards, product development, test feature requirements, test instrument verification environment, test specification formulation and test verification of mass-produced products, etc., relying on each other's accumulation and advantages in the industry, jointly promote the mature development of the Internet of Vehicles industry.
Dr. Luo Shan, Global Vice President and President of Greater China of Rohde & Schwarz, said that Rohde & Schwarz has a lot of technical accumulation and comprehensive test and measurement solutions in the field of Internet of Vehicles testing, including V2X consistency testing, production testing, and end-to-end application testing. He believes that these mature products can help the entire Internet of Vehicles industry develop more maturely, stably and rapidly. In the future, Rohde & Schwarz and Gaohong will continue to work with partners to provide users with more valuable Internet of Vehicles testing solutions.
Mr. Zhao Desheng, Vice General Manager of Gaohong Co., Ltd. and General Manager of the Internet of Vehicles Division, pointed out that China Information and Communications Technology Group Co., Ltd. started V2X technology research as early as 2011, and is committed to promoting the widespread application of Internet of Vehicles technology in the fields of intelligent connected vehicles and vehicle-road collaboration. The cooperation between Gaohong Co., Ltd. and R&S will jointly promote the maturity and application of 5G Internet of Vehicles technology and related product testing and verification solutions. It is believed that both parties will bring breakthrough progress to the industry by relying on each other's technical accumulation in the field of Internet of Vehicles.
