Tesla adds voice command feature as it works to launch artificial intelligence assistant

Last year, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said Tesla was launching more voice command features in an effort to launch an artificial intelligence assistant in its cars. Now, Tesla is developing a series of voice commands to achieve that goal,media reported.

While other automakers are working to integrate Apple's Siri and Google Assistant into their cars, Tesla has taken a different approach and developed its own system. The company has been constantly improving its voice command system and adding new features. Musk said Tesla owners will eventually "be able to do everything with voice command."

While Tesla doesn’t have an AI assistant yet, the company is actively working toward that goal by introducing increasingly advanced voice commands.

For example, some Tesla owners have discovered that Tesla's latest software update has added a series of new voice command functions. Such new commands can activate Tesla's new "Sentry Mode" function, and some people have discovered that Tesla seems to be developing new voice command functions. At present, no keywords have been found to activate the voice command function, but Tesla owners should soon be able to control devices such as wipers, climate control, and even glove boxes through voice commands.

Currently, the voice command function can activate: glove box, car mirror settings, steering column, wipers on/off, wiper large/small, air conditioning system on/off/warm air/cold air, air conditioning system fan large/small/high efficiency, air conditioning system vents fresh air/air circulation/anti-biohazard, car seat heating on/off/large/small.
