A car is stolen every 45 seconds in the United States, but thanks to advanced technology, the crime rate is actually on the decline. Now the latest iris scanning technology has further ensured vehicle safety and reduced the probability of vehicle theft.
By using iris scanning technology, people with criminal tendencies will no longer be able to steal other people's vehicles. Every time a driver enters a vehicle, they must undergo identity verification. If you are not an authorized driver, the vehicle will not be able to start. EyeLock, a company from New York, has recently developed a small infrared camera and technology that can scan the iris of a person's eye. Only when the iris matches the stored driver information can you start the vehicle and drive away.
The probability that a car thief and a car owner have the same iris structure is only one in a trillion, so there is almost no theoretical possibility that the car can be stolen. Perhaps the car thief can only steal someone else's car by changing the driver's information stored in the vehicle. The driver's eye detection system is also an important means to improve the intelligence of the vehicle, allowing the driver to focus his eyes on the road at all times.
