On April 24, Zhu Chengjun, general manager of Huawei Digital Energy Microgrid Business, and his delegation, accompanied by Feng Tao, vice president of technical services, China, of Ivanhoe, and Wang Song, general manager of investment and corporate development, China, of Ivanhoe, visited the Tongzhou plant of Beijing Puneng for a visit and exchange. Beijing Puneng CEO Ge Qiming and senior executives and technical team gave them a warm reception.
The visiting guests toured the company's exhibition hall, technology research and development center, and battery stack testing platform. With the explanation and accompaniment of the marketing and technical team of Beijing Puneng, they learned about the development history of Beijing Puneng, the working principle and technical advantages of all-vanadium liquid flow batteries, and the iteration process of Beijing Puneng's third-generation system.
During the discussion, Mr. Feng, on behalf of Ivanhoe Group and Beijing Puneng, extended a warm welcome to Mr. Zhu and his delegation, and expressed the hope that through this exchange opportunity, the two sides could deepen their understanding and explore more areas and models of cooperation.
Mr. Ge from Beijing Puneng focused on the company's R&D technology, vanadium battery industry chain layout and project promotion and application. All-vanadium liquid flow battery is a key technology route for large-capacity and long-term energy storage. Mr. Zhu from Huawei Digital Energy also gave a detailed introduction to the development stage and characteristics of Huawei Digital Energy's microgrid service system, as well as Huawei's project experience in smart mines.
Subsequently, the two sides conducted further communication and discussion on the domestic and overseas mine microgrid business, hoping to reach project cooperation in domestic and overseas mine power operation solutions.
