Qorvo Expands BAW Filter Portfolio to Support Global 5G Base Station Deployment [Copy link]

Qorvo, Inc. (Nasdaq: QRVO), a leading provider of innovative RF solutions that connect the world, today introduced two bulk acoustic wave (BAW) filters to support the ongoing global 5G base station deployments.

The new QPQ3500 and QPQ3501 filters provide OEM pin-compatible base stations, lower insertion loss 5G filter solutions and superior out-of-band rejection compared to similar products. Pin compatibility allows the use of common printed circuit boards supporting different frequency bands, eliminating the need for expensive board redesigns and reducing time to market.

Qorvo QPQ3500 and QPQ3501 BAW filters support the growing global demand for higher frequencies and greater bandwidths. The QPQ3500 (Band 42) supports use in China and Europe, while the QPQ3501 (Bands 42 and 52) meets 5G base station requirements in China and India.

These innovative filters enable greater data capacity through 5G in densely populated urban areas and extend coverage in rural or suburban areas. These new products build on the success of the Qorvo QPQ1298 2.6 GHz BAW filter for Band 41 applications.
