Infrared Light-emitting diodes (such as SE303.PH303) are similar in appearance to light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and emit infrared light. The tube voltage drop is about 1.4v, and the operating current is generally less than 20mA. In order to adapt to different operating voltages, current-limiting resistors are often connected in series in the circuit.
