SX8652 is a very low power and highly reliable 4-wire and 5-wire resistive touch screen controller with input voltage from 1.65V to 3.7V. It has a precision high-speed 12-bit SAR ADC operating at 74KSPS and a throughput of 5000 (XY) coordinates/second. The shutdown mode is less than 1uA and has an SPI serial interface. It is mainly used in mobile phones, digital cameras, laser printers and MP3 players. This article introduces the main features of SX8652, a simplified block diagram, and a 4-wire and 5-wire touch screen application block diagram and a SX8652 evaluation board circuit diagram.
